New Beginings
With it being the eve of New Years Eve I cannot help but begin reflecting on this past year. I took a few minutes to read past blog posts and was amazed at the growth and awareness's I have had. I will admit to being scared and excited about the new year and all its possibilities. I have begun thinking of what I would like to anticipate for my next year. My dream for this year is "Through my surrender & trust, I will gain Faith, Hope & Unity." I believe I have achieved it and in the most unusual and profound ways. I attempt to not expect anything for the new year as I believe when you expect something you limit yourself and those around you; it also limits on how it anything will appear. By expecting I also set myself up for disappointment. I reiterate that I am anticipating new & wonderful things for this upcoming year. Thus a New Beginning. When you watch "Christmas Carol", you learn about how Scrooge starts anew Christmas morning; after all his awakenings and awareness's. What I would like to know is how many of us take this into consideration every Christmas; do we wait for the New Year to start anew or are we still waiting for the "three spirits" to visit us to show us how we aught to be living so we too can have a New Beginning?

Spirit of Christmas
With it being Christmas and everyone in "the spirit", I can not help wonder what causes this. Most everyone I talk to complain about how commercialized it has become, having to buy so and so a gift and how they plan to have back-up gifts in case someone they hadn't planned on giving a gift to gives them one. When I ask the reason for this they all say one of two things "It is expected" or "Karma, if I don't give it will come back and get me". Both of these answers surprises me, as neither of them speak of what Christmas is about. I to for years bought into the having to give everyone a gift and it caused me stress and anxiety. When I didn't get what I wanted I was extremely disappointed. It was five years ago that I stopped. I don't give a gift unless I am inspired to do so, I receive each gift with appreciation as someone took the time to think of me. Even though most have begun to believe I don't practice Christmas. (I do, only not in the way that most do). The fact that they still give me a gift even though I may not practice it the way they do lets me know that they truly do care. So I ask you what is the "spirit " of Christmas & how do you access it? I hear people say they watch Christmas specials or listen to the Christmas music; others say it is through the children. For me this year it was when I began exercising; " I have been given much & I would like to share". I don't have to share, nor am I feeling it is expected. I am doing it because I desire to. This is the spirit that will carry me through until next year. If the giving comes from the heart with no strings, expectations or justifications than it is a true gift. The next step is the receiving of this gift and that is completely up to you. I hope you all had a very merry Christmas.

Out of Sorts
I was thinking about writing about "commitment" some more today and than some one asked if I would write about "karma" there seems to be confusion on how this actually works. It is my turn to write today and I can not seem to get my brain to write about anything. OK, it doesn't want to do much of anything and it isn't only today I had this issue yesterday also. My husband threatened to send me to bed early last night as I was no longer making any sense. What causes these bouts of scattered thinking? I suppose it depends on who you talk to; one person will say "you are dehydrated", another would say "not enough sleep", another "stress". I would love to say it was one of these, how ever I can not I will admit the truth. My brain is having a melt down. I am sure none of you have ever had one of these. With that said wait until Thursday for me to write about "commitment or karma" until than.

Stillness
Be still, and know that I am God is the phrase that kept coming up to me for several weeks, but I kept ignoring it wishing it to go away. Last Wednesday I finally looked up on-line for this verse; it was in Psalm 46:10. On Thursday, I came across Eckart Tolle's book STILLNESS AMIDST THE WORLD. In his book, Eckart explained the questions that most of us wanted to know but afraid to ask: What is it mean to be still? Why do we need to be still? How to be still?
The word STILL means quiet, silence, calm, tranquil, or devoid of or abstaining from motion. To be still is to be aware of the Presence, to be thoughtless or mindless. When I let go of attachment to myself, I become alive to the present moment. When I no longer need to be special to get some sense of my identity, the freedom comes to me. I do not have to be avid meditator in order to achieve this STILLNESS, all I have to do is allow myself to the state of BEING, not forcing or manipulating but being aware and let it BE. Whether I am in the room, nature, at home, or anywhere else, all I am doing is be Presence regardless of what going on in my surrounding. When I am in the state of Stillness, it is when I am reconnecting to the Source/God or your true-self. You see, the reason we are in the state or situation that we are right now is because of the disconnection to our Source or true-self. When we are in the state of stillness and awareness, it is when we are being inspired, love, creative, and grateful.
Tis the season of giving why not give yourself a gift of STILLNESS.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Muscle Testing
Muscle testing also known as kinesiology, applied kinesiology, or energy testing has been around for century especially in the Eastern world. Chinese medicine uses as a diagnostic tool to evaluate the meridian systems, and to prescribe the appropriate treatment(doses, duration). In 1964, Dr.George J Goodheart invented Applied Kinesiology (AK) a system that evaluates structural, chemical, and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing alongside conventional diagnostic methods. Although, AK has been used primarily by chiropractors; it is also has been used by naturopaths, energy practitioners, medical doctors, dentists, nutritionists, physical therapists, massage therapists, and nurse practitioners.
A manual muscle test is conducted by having the patient resist using the target muscle or muscle group while the practitioner applies a force. A smooth response is sometimes referred to as a "strong muscle" and a response that was not appropriate is sometimes called a "weak response". This is not a test of strength, but rather a subjective evaluation of tension in the muscle and smoothness of response, taken to be indicative a difference in spindle cell response during contraction. These differences in muscle response can be indicative of various stresses and imbalances in the body. The imbalances will be corrected by chiropractic adjustment, nutrition, or emotional work.
Muscle testing is a biofeedback; the body responses to the questions automatically. However, the result can be influenced by the conscious mind; the mind can altered the result of the test. Therefore, it is imperative to clear your mind or focus in the present moment. It takes times and practice to be good at muscle testing; you need to trust yourself, your intuition, and the result of your test because the body never lie. While it may seems overwhelming and frustrating at first, with practice you will eventually master the technique. It is a very powerful tool; your clients or loved ones would greatly benefit by your skill.

Commmitment
I would like to say right off the bat that this word has caused me to go into hibernation. Not because I don't believe in it, but because of the worlds definition(s). The word commitment comes from the word commit. Now when you first hear the word commit, did you or did you not see yourself being locked up in an asylum? Granted there are days I feel as if I have been, this is not one of them though. I digress.
This word came into my awareness over the weekend. I have a few friends that are having personal issues and this word came up as how I could assist them. How does this word assist them? Well, here is my question to you. What does commitment mean to you? By definition this word means two things one: to give in trust. two: to send away. For me this is a paradox. Do you send someone away in trust. If so than how is this commitment?
Better yet does commitment only apply to relationships?
My time is up I will write more on Thursday

Being Childlike
Children can teach us so many things in life that we as adults are taking for granted or some of us forget how to. When they are finding something new or interesting, they are very curious and very attentive. They like to explore and experiment with new things. The word No has no effect or has opposite effect; to them No mean Yes you can do it or encouragement word for them to go ahead and try it. Their mind is open to learn new things, and they are having fun learning them. They are not beating themselves up if they fail or don't "get it" the first time. For them, it is all about having fun with fresh minds and attitudes every time. They have no fear, or the phrase "I can't do it" does not exist. If they have a favorite game or movie, they will play or watch it as if it is their first time every time, it does not matter how many times they have seen it. When they fall or get hurt, they would cry on top of their lungs until they are done and then they are off to continue playing as if nothing happened. Or they would throw a temper tantrum until they are done, they do not pay attention to anybody else around them or where they are at, it is all about them, when they are done they continued what they are doing earlier or find something new to do. They do not hold their emotions inside; they express it outwardly in a healthy way. They are very spontaneous, and they do not take themselves too seriously. They are very trusting and thirsty for knowledge.
If you are a parent or working with children, you would see all these qualities and more in your kids. They have great lessons to teach everyone of us. So many times we are so serious and too worried about our life and situation that we forget to have fun. Life suppose to be fun, excited, and full of love and laughter. Life is simple and uncomplicated; we make life too complex and complicated, full of grudges and jealousy. Look at your kids, if you don't have any look at your nieces or nephews, let them teach you the most important lessons in life: have fun and don't take your life too seriously. Always be childlike.

Perspective
What is your perspective?
Do events, things, or situations happen TO you, or do they happen FOR you?
Is it possible that there is reason, perfection, and purpose in ALL events, things or situations?
Are you a victim of circumstances, or are you a student of opportunity?

Distractions
It was my turn to write yesterday and do to the plethora of distractions I created for myself I didn't. I could say "It must mean I wasn't meant to write." that would not be the truth. I chose not to. So, I am writing today to thank you all for being patient with me as I begin creating the new habit of writing on this blog. I have asked for reminders to help me to follow through, however the reminders I receive happen at times that are not at all helpful, like while I am driving or in the middle of the store. I am working on rewiring the reminders also. I am sure none of you have experienced this kind of rewiring.
As for distractions, I do appreciate them as they help me either stay strong on what is important or remind me on how easily I can be lead astray. Distractions come in all shapes and sizes. From a thought to a traffic accident. For me one of my distractions was the printer jamming repeatedly. I do realize the more frustrated I became the more the printer jammed. I had to walk away. My husband unjammed it this morning. Guess what this email can even be considered a distraction, especialy if you are using it to prevent yourself from doing a unlikeable task.
I will not be a contributor to you delinquency. So, move forward.

Flu Season
What comes to your mind when you heard the word cold or flu? Many of us will immediately think of flu shot for preventation. Do you know that getting a flu shot does not prevent you from having a flu; in addition, children and elderly are more susceptible to the adverse reactions to the flu shot. Have you ever wondered what is in the flu shot? Most people are ignorant; they don't care or don't want to know what they put in their body especially vaccine as long as they have it because everybody else did it or because your doctor or the media tell you to. I beg to differ, I think you should know what you are putting in your and your loved ones' body. You should be your own advocate, do some research first before you follow the norm. Here are the major additives in the flu vaccine: mercury, aluminum hydroxide, Ethylene glycol(antifreeze), Phenol, Formaldehyde, Neomycin and Streptomycin (antibiotics). Majority of these ingredients are very poisonous, and you wouldn't want it near you let alone putting in your body, especially infant, children and elderly because it will cause more harm to their health. And if one flu shot does not work why in the world would you give your loved one another dose of this poisonous shot in the name of the booster shot, more is better does not work in this case. In addition, most of the flu viruses used in the vaccine are from last year's virus which is useless for this year's strain because viruses always replicate and more resistant to the vaccine.
For those of you who are looking for the alternative ways to combat the flu; here are some tips that can be beneficial to you:
1. Avoid sugar
2. Get plenty of sleep
3. Exercise regularly
4. Drink more fluids
5. Eat healthy diet
6. Take Vitamin D3
7. Take care of yourself: DE-stress, meditate, yoga, breathing exercise or think of positive thoughts
8. Activate your Thymus gland; it helps boost your immune system: find your collar bones and trace it to the middle where you would find the dip at the base of your neck; then, drop your hand down about 1-2" and tap lightly at that area for about 1 minute or about 3 deep breath, do this for 2-3 times/day.
If you are into essential oils(certified therapeutic grade), I would recommended OnGuard or Theives, lemon for sore throat, peppermint for fever, thyme, melaleuca, breath or lavender for calming. You can put a couple drops on your feet or in your favorite drink 3-4 times a day until the symptom subside. Essential oils are made from natural ingredients and will not harm your body.
Most importantly, the emotional cause for influenza is response to mass negativity and beliefs, fear, and belief in statistics. The new thought pattern or affirmation is "I am beyond group beliefs or the calendar. I am free from all congestion and influence." Listen to your body and incorporate the affirmation to your recovery time. Do whatever your gut feeling tell you to do.

What is Health?
What is your definition of Health? and, Are you healthy?
I have asked these questions to many different people and it seems that almost always the answer is consistent with them relating their health and being healthy with physical symptoms or ailments. Most people will generally take a moment and mentally scan their physical body from head to toe and give you an assessment to whether they are healthy or not based on how they physically feel in that moment or give you a list of the many past diagnoses that they have been given. The question I have is: Is there more to health than only the physical body? Webster's defines health as not merely the absence of disease or infirmity, but complete physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being. This broadens the limited perspective of what is health. I agree with Webster's, however, I feel that the most important aspect of health is still left out, which is spiritual. To me, it is our spiritual being that is our true essence and it has an unlimited infinite potential. I believe that as we broaden our definition of health the more miracles and healing can manifest in our life.

Intention
I am confused about how the saying goes. Is it "the road to hell is paved with good intentions or the road to heaven is paid with good intentions?" What is the reason I ask? Well, I have discovered what "intentions" are. They are what motivates us to do things. If you are not motivated to do it you will not do it. Example: I had every intention of going to that party, but time got away from me. First off if was a priority to you, you wouldn't have allowed time to get away. Second: If that party was of interest or a desire you would have been there. Intentions in truth come from the heart. So to say you intended to do something you are saying you are doing it with love. A better way would be to say it is "I thought about it" or "I meant to". Unless it truly comes from the heart. Than it is an intention, and every intention is followed through on. So it is my belief that if the saying is " the road to heaven is paved with good intentions". Than are perception about it is wrong. How so?
I let you think on that.
I let you think on that.

Being Grateful
I have been pondering all day about what to write on today's blog. Then my thoughts kept coming back to Thanksgiving day and what is it mean to be grateful to those I love. Most of us when we are asked about what we are grateful for, we are often grateful for the materialistic or physical things that we can see. It is not a bad thing that we are grateful for all those. Have you ever paused and thought for a moment of what you are really grateful for; may it be the love that you receive from your spouse, kids, parents, in-laws, friends, the lifestyle that you have, the peace and security that you have living in this country while others sacrifice their life for us. While it seems like we are only grateful for the good things that happen to us, we seem to forget to be grateful for the worst or mistakes in the past that happened to us. Those mistakes were the lessons that taught us to be who we are right now.
This Thanksgiving let us give thanks to the painful lessons or events in the past and be grateful for all things that have happened to us: the good and the bad, big or small; for everything happens for a reason. And be grateful for your Heavenly Father, the Universe, or God for sending you those lessons. Let us take time to thank those who love us and those we loved; appreciates the small things in life, the abundance of friendship, times, wisdom, love, opportunity, and be grateful to be alive everyday. Namaste.

Dark side of Appreciation
I learned about this on Sunday. After teaching the Steps to Gratitude class on Saturday I was open to learning more and I was informed about the dark side of Appreciation. Most of us don't see it as even being apart of Appreciation. It is what happens to distract us from achieving Grace. What is the dark side? Infatuation. When you appreciate something so much that you have to have it which than turns to must have; which may than turn into need. You are in infatuation now instead of appreciation. Once it becomes a need you now have an addiction. Here is an example: I appreciate a cup of coffee so much I would like to have more. I receive another cup of coffee and I am not satisfied so I will get another one. I have it but feel as if I need another. Hope this makes sense.

Inner Weather
Many people belief that what you are is what you handed genetically; may it be heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, cancer, obesity, depression, or osteoporosis. This belief system has been pass on for generation after generation, people belief that there is nothing that they can do to change this; it is in my gene and I have to accept it.
Well, according to Bruce Lipton, Ph.D. in his book The Biology of Belief, life is not controlled by genes but the environment. He realized that both the human body and the universe itself are mental and spiritual in nature. There’s a field of invisible energy with a total absence of physical properties that creates the particles that we call “cells,” and this invisible field is the sole governing function of the body.
Dr. Lipton understanding that our personal belief systems, including our perceptions, have the capacity to trump our genetic inheritance and our cellular DNA. In other words, what you are is what you believe, not what you were handed genetically. Your perceptions have the power to change your genetic makeup-your beliefs can and do control your biology.
How is this apply to me you might ask, by reseting your mind to the possibility that your beliefs carry far more weight than you realized in determining what you can, what you’ll undertake, and how far you’re capable of going, you can overcome all the excuses you have in your life about your health, diet, exercise, anxiety, and happiness.
If you are depressed, unsatisfied, unhappy with your life or you feel helpless and hopeless with your circumstances; then, take a moment to re-exam your life, and your beliefs. Maybe it’s time to let go of the old beliefs which didn’t serve you well, and embark upon the new belief and thought patterns, and witness the incredible change in your physical and spiritual life.
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. It is founded on our thoughts. It is made up of our thoughts. If one speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows one, like a shadow that never leaves.” –the Dhammapada.

Senses
With the cold season coming up many of us are dreading the possibilities of getting one. May I suggest taking a moment to enjoy the fact. I know this sounds strange especially when you don't feel well. Have you ever heard of when one of your senses is compromised the others will intensify? Example: If you are blind your hearing becomes better? Have you ever had a hang-over? When you woke up were your senses overly sensitive? This is kind of what happens with a cold, if you have a head cold your body aches do to compensation. It has to feel everything so you can process your world, since your brain can not do it. I challenge you to test my theory. The next time your nose is clogged see if your eyesight seems a little sensitive.

Pilgrim Prospect- Being IN Balance
Have you ever felt like there is more to life than what you know, or you are here on earth for a greater purpose. This yearning leads us to our spiritual quest. Some will turn to wealth, prestige, drugs, sex, alcohol, gambling, or sports to fill the void in their life. We are seeking the spiritual from the materialistic or outside world instead of from the inside.
Do you see heaven in your daily life? Many times you tend to focus on the physical or material world too much that you lost sight of the spiritual world; hence, you are out of balance.
When you are out of balance, you see yourself in a false manner. Your true essence is spiritual, rather than physical, but you’re unable to recognize this. When you find the balance point, you experience heaven right here on earth.
You can begin to equalizing your material and spiritual life by making a conscious decision to look for the unfolding of Spirit in everything and everyone you encounter. You can see nature, people, and events with the new lenses. When you allow yourself to see through filters in your lenses and your thoughts, you will notice pure love vibrating right before your eyes. You will see the world with new light and understanding.
Sogyal Rinpoche observed that two people have been living in you all of your life. One is ego and the other is the hidden spiritual being whose still voice of wisdom you have only rarely heard or attended to.
You can restore some balanced in your life by looking for Heaven everywhere and listening and attending to that hidden spiritual being that is within you at all times. Then and only then you will fill the void in your life.

Seeing Within – Intuition for Greater Self-Knowledge
Hunches, ‘gut’ feelings, listening to your heart, personal revelation, and insight – these are ways of describing that ability we all possess yet often discount – intuition. Intuition can be used for more than getting a glimpse of the future. Creativity, self-improvement and inspired action all come from listening to our intuition.
What is Intuition? The dictionary definition of intuition is “quick and ready insight;” and “the act or process of coming to direct knowledge without reasoning or inferring.” It is derived from the Latin word “intueri” which means “to see within.” It is a way of knowing, of sensing the truth without explanations.
Whatever we don’t understand we tend to put on a pedestal, treat as a god or a devil. It can be quite frustrating when we are GETTING the message, but NOT GETTING any logical reasoning along with it. When a person first becomes alert to intuitive messages it may seem disturbing not to understand the importance or unimportance of the messages.
By following through on your everyday hunches, you are actually taking test drives, virtually honing in on your listening skills. These skills will serve you well. Everyone is apparently intuitive, but many people have flabby intuitive muscles. Learning to listen to your inner dialog tones and strengthens this muscle. The more you use your intuition the better you get at it. When we choose to ignore our gut instincts, we are only hurting ourselves.
Listening to your intuition is the essence of art and creativity and soulful living. Intuition is what you use to find the purpose of your life and your place in the world. Once you awaken your inner guide by unlocking the wisdom of your subconscious mind, you already know what to do. Being objective is harder when you are emotionally involved. It is more mature to admit your emotions as a factor than to deny them.

True or Truth
Most individuals believe that they are one and the same or that they are interchangable according to the way it may be used in a sentence. Such as "Is it True the sky is blue?" verses "In Truth the sky is blue." In my experience though "True" is an outer world reflection where as "Truth" is an inner world belief. How this works is what you preceive as "True" in your outer world will become "Truth" in your inner world as that is what you believe. Hence, somethings that you believe, may in "truth" be wrong. How will you know? by the worlds definition "true" means an indisputable fact. In other words for anything to be "true" in this world you have to prove it and in order for you to have truth it must have been proven.

Let's smell lemon
Lemon is the most common household items that you can find, not only it is easy to find and available in any season; it also is one of the most beneficial to your health. Lemon has been used to fight scurvy (vitamin C deficiency) in Christopher Columbus day, fight food poisoning, malaria, lower blood pressure, help with liver problem, arthritis and muscular aches and pain.
The citrus smell of lemon helps boost your memory; this is very beneficial for students when studying for the test. You can put a drop of lemon on your palm and inhale it before study, and at the end of your study. Before you take the test smell the lemon, it will trigger your memory. The research showed that using lemon before the test increases scores by 50 percent.
Any citrus fragrance especially lemon promotes clarity of thought and purpose. It is invigorating, enhancing and warming your spirit. It is great for depression, stress, increase mental accuracy and concentration. A University in Japan found that diffusing certain aromas in an office environment dramatically improved mental accuracy and concentration. Diffused lemon resulted in 54 percent fewer errors, jasmine 33 percent fewer errors, and lavender 20 percent fewer errors.
Besides being anticancer, antiseptic, improving microcirculation, and an immune stimulant, it helps with urinary tract infections, parasites, obesity, sore throat, and digestive problem. Lemon oil has been widely used in skin care to cleanse skin and reduce wrinkles and acne. It works extremely well in removing gum, wood stains, oil, and grease spots.
So, when you feel down or beat at the end of the day, when you are studying for your exam and feeling overwhelm, or the thought of upcoming holiday depresses you. Take a moment to take a deep breath and smell the lemons.

The Flaming Tree
I believe fire is the element of celebration, when you are excited or enthusiastic about something there is a fire that burns within. Do you know what this feels like? It is completely different feeling then acid reflex. It's a warmth that starts in the middle of your stomach than spreads gradually through your body, as it does this you feel like you are going to turn into a puddle. When it reaches the top of your head it brings this chill that runs right up your spine this has you giggling. If you don't recall this feeling or haven't felt it I suggest you follow these instructions.
The Flaming Tree
Visualize a tree of fire (not it being on fire totally different feeling, blazing against the night sky. Against the darkened sky the true looks like a Fourth of July fire work.
Imagine each of the leaves bursting into flame to represent each amazing and ahhh inspiring experience you have had. As each leave burst recreate the feeling of each experience (such as graduating from high school, birth of a child, riding a roller coaster, a trip to Disneyland, paying off a bill.) Notice how full your tree of fire is with leaves. You have many reasons to celebrate. Enjoy these joyous moments even as they fade, feel the warmth and exhilaration you now feel.

Memory Enhancement
I recently came across an interesting article on orgasm and health. According to Dr. Oz, having 200 orgasms a year will reduce your physiologic age by six year and improve you mind, body and soul. One of the many benefits of this is improving your memory due to the increasing amount of blood flow and oxygen to your brain. So you see, sex is pleasurable and also keep you healthy, have more SEX.
Keeping your energy flowing is also help to boost your mind and keep it active. I learned this exercise several months ago; it was very beneficial then as it is now. This exercise is called pumping your memory:
1) Place your right hand over your left heart chakra (your chest).
2) Place your left hand above your ear (on the side of your head) with fingers point upward.
3) Take a deep breath into your nose and out of your mouth 3 times.
4) Move your left hand and place it at the back of your head fingers point up and repeat the same breathing.
5) Place your left hand over your right chest.
6) Place your right hand over your forehead and take 3 deep breaths.
7) Move your right hand above your right ear (on the side of your head) and take 3 deep breaths.
Practicing this at least one or twice a day will keep your memory sharp and be able to recall what you learn more accurately.
However, the most important thing is to keep your nervous system free of interference. Without interference, the communication or information between your brain and the rest of your body is free flowing; every organ is function at it best. And finally, be positive, meditate at least 10-15 minutes per day, letting go of your emotional junks, get a good night sleep and listen to your body.

The Shift from Ambition to Meaning
I recently watched the movie- The Shift, by Wayne Dyer.
I actually decided to watch it twice because the first time I got so much out of it that I forgot all the inspiring "Ah-Ha" moments that I was having. The second time I was prepared with a pen & paper.
I would like to share a thought about the concept of shifting from Ambition to Meaning. Those that know me, would say that I am a go-getter. I like to accomplish tasks and accumulate achievements. I have always considered myself as Ambitious. I have realized that being ambitious is not serving me well. What does serve me well is living with Meaning or Purpose in my life.
When living with Meaning, Life is complete. It takes the "need to do something" out. Accepting and Trusting that everything happens at its perfectness. It is a Life of Bliss, Joy, Happiness, Love, and Grace.
When living without Meaning, Life feels like a continuous chore- going from task, to task, to task- always searching for something else to do, get done, or accomplish in order to full-feel a void. What is the void? Individual/personal Meaning.
What feels better to you? Continuously paddling up-stream in a river, exhausted and frustrated that you are not going anywhere. Or, allowing the float to take place and enjoying life as it comes to you.
I have experienced both scenarios at times in my life, and now thanks to Wayne Dyer's reminder, I choose to float the river. Those that have not yet seen the movie- The Shift, I recommend it.
With Love,

Shimmering Self
I read that Peacocks are ancient Indian symbols of transcendence-- their shimmering plumage was thought to be the result from eating snakes and transmuting the poisons into colors. How does this apply to us? Well, emotions such as envy and jealousy can be poisonous and corrosive especially if you allow them to take over. By transmuting the poison from with in than your inner beauty will shimmer through more brightly. I hear you "How" do you transmute the poison. The answer is simple, "Stop feeding it". I say the answer is simple I did not say the process is simple. It can become simple with practice.

Weirdness
I am the first to admit that I am weird. I like it. We all strive to be different, yet when we achieve this we feel alone. Been there done that. In my weirdness though, I have attracted like weirdo's. I am even raising my children to be as weird. When I say this, it is due to our perception of the world and the words we use that set us apart. Example: I threaten to beat my children all the time. I am not afraid of doing this in public. The looks on their faces tell you exactly how much they want this to happen, so it comes across as a true threat. However, if you were to ask my children if I beat them they would whole heartily deny it. How can this be? I tickle them until they can not breathe. I have done this to them in public before and this embarrassed them so bad that they will not do something again to encourage this. I do have a 13 year old who is testing this, he thinks that now that he is a half an inch taller than me that I wouldn't. I am looking forward to the day that he gets his beating. See weird.
How about you?
How about you?

Healing day 3
Okay so technically it is day 4. I am unsure the reason for not writing yesterday other than I may have been contemplating what to write next. Do I continue writing about my awaking or do I start from where I am now? I feel it is time to move forward and talk about now. As I have stepped into who I am it has become more and more difficult to face some of things I avoided in the past. I recognize this as a pattern and I am ready to break it.
The night of the party my friend Michelle and I attended I was asked by another friend if I was a witch? The reason she asked me this is because she had at that moment made a connection to who I am. I have known her for four years and have hidden my true self from her and others for fear of this reaction. My fear is not only for myself, but for my family. Her reaction is as it always is once a friend discovers the depth of what I can see. One of attack. It hurts and than I become defensive. I am not a witch in the way the world defines one. However, that is the label I am given so that others may feel more comfortable with who I am.
TV shows such as "Medium" & "Ghost Whisper" everyone loves to watch, as they can detach themselves from it and pretend it doesn't exist. They feel safe with this knowledge. I wish I could be safe in that knowledge. Instead I live that life that everyone pretends only exists in TV or movies.
At times I feel it would be easier to be gay or a lesbian at least they have support. When they come out of the closet they are embraced by others. They even have t-shirts, parades and parties. We don't. I spend a good portion of my life pretending not to see or feel half of the things I see & feel. What good would it do to tell anyone they can not do anything to help me. Example: I was attacked two nights ago in the middle of the night. I have a mark on my arm from it. It looks like any other blemish, however I know the difference.
I will stop whining at least that is what I feel like I am doing. My intention is not to sound whinny though. My intention is to help others understand.
I surrender & trust
